Shouka the Killer Whale Show.
The best part of the trip for the kids was getting their own Shouka stuffed animal. They carried those around everywhere for weeks after the trip .
We had a lot of fun at Discovery Kingdom (formerly Marine World). We went with Ryan's Brother and Sister in Law and their family. The kids had a lot of fun riding all the kiddie rides and the highlight was seeing "
Shouka" the Killer Whale Show. The kids loved it and couldn't wait to get a
Shouka stuffed animal of their own! We loved all the shows they have there (Sea Lions, White Tigers, Dolphins, & Killer Whales). It was also really neat to see the sharks swim in an aquarium that goes above your head, and "pet" some Stingr
ays. We made a trip of it and stayed the night in
Vacaville, California and went shopping the next day at the outlets in Folsom. It was a blast.
Oh, and I can't forget that we ate at the Chick-Fil-A in Cali(we don't have one here in Sparks). It was soooooooooo good. I have been craving it ever since! I was thinking of David and Dad the whole time....I wish you were there with us! Ryan and I of course got our own order of 12 piece nuggets, large waffle fries, and a chicken sandwich each too. Oink Oink!! This place is awesome they have family nights and are closed on Sunday because they feel, "It is our way of honoring God and directing our attention to things more important than our business..." How can you not love that?!

I love that they are closed on Sundays, too. That was one of the first things I noticed at the one here. THey always have cool things going on for Mothers/Fathers day and stuff, too. Fun place! The whales look really fun!
