Labor Day

Here's a few reasons why this Labor Day Weekend rocked!

#1 The Nugget Rib Cook-off

Me and Ryan LIVE for the Rib Cook-off each year.  We love it.  This year just Ryan and I went without the kids 2 nights and then we took the whole family on Monday too.  We definitely had our fill of ribs!  It was so much fun.  Monday we met my parents and Evan and Kristi.  It was awesome.  Just like old times, since we all grew up going to the rib cook-off every year. 

Here are a few pics of the kids.  They enjoyed the rides and the little shopping booths.  Sorry there are no pics of Ry and I eating ribs . . . what a shame!

Grandma Becky bought the kids these pin wheels that they loved and it kept the kids entertained while we stuffed our faces. :)

#2 Pedicures for me and Ashby

 This is actually me and Ashby's 2nd pedicure together.  I have to say I'm a pretty lucky girl who has the best husband in the world who loves to spoil his girls.

Ashby loved the whole experience especially being able to pick out her own nail polish color and having the lady paint flowers on  her big toes.

We had a great time together.  I love these Mother daughter outings already!

#3 Church with my family

I love going to church with my family.  A weekend wouldn't be complete without it.  I love watching my children grow and learn in the gospel.  I can see their testimonies and love of the Lord growing so strong.

Now that I am taking 3 kids to church by myself (since Ry is on the High Council).  It is really hard to do it on my own but so worth the effort.

#4 Spending time with Daddy

The best thing about a 3 day weekend is spending more time with Daddy!  It is so nice to have Ryan at home to ourselves.  He is a busy guy and has a lot on his plate so when he is home an extra day with us we take full advantage! 

#5 Dinner with the Bellows

Monday night Grandma and Grandpa Bellows had everyone over for Taco Night.  It was a lot of fun.  The cousins had fun playing together the whole night.  The adults had a great time visiting and the food was delish.  Afterwards we roasted marshmallows for homemade smores on their new fire pit in their newly landscaped yard. 

What a great weekend!!
