Brooks-8 months

 Brooks is 8 months old now.  Wow!! I can't believe he came into our family 8 months ago!!  It seems like I just had him last month or something!  I am sure enjoying this little guy that is for sure.

A few things I would like to remember about Brooks at this age:

-He loves wearing hats and will keep them on his head.

-He cut his first teeth this week!  He has 2 teeth on the bottom now.

-Notice a theme in all these pictures?  He is always on the move . . . whether it is crawling, pulling up on something, crawling up the stairs or cruising around the furniture he is always moving.

-Brooks is very adept at pulling up to stand on anything, and cruising the furniture or toys to get where he wants to go.

-He is getting more vocal when he wants something (he can yell really loud when he wants to!)

-Brooks is very attached to Mommy and has become rather clingy when I am trying to get something done and he wants to be held.

-He loves his Daddy and is very comfortable with him even when I am in the same room.

-Brooks loves people.  He will smile at everyone and usually will be happy being held by different people.

-He LOVES real people food now.  This includes: crackers, cereal, baby finger foods, or anything we are eating.

-Brooks learned to drink from a straw and out of a water bottle.  It is quite funny to watch.

-He is good in the car seat shuffling kids from here to there most of the day.

-Brooks LOVES bath time. 

-He is on a great sleeping schedule.  He still goes to bed early but sleeps 12 hours. He usually takes 3 naps a day.

-Brooks LOVES Ashby and Dalton.  He will play and watch them happily for long periods of time.

-Even though he is busy he still likes to be held and will let you hold or just "chill" with him on the couch(which I love).
