We finally got around to carving the pumpkins this week! I love seeing how our older kids really look forward to each tradition we have been doing since they were very little. The kids have really enjoyed carving pumpkins the last couple of years and it has been fun to see. They love getting all the yucky stuff out of the pumpkin and seeing it get carved into a Jack O Lantern.
Afterwards we always turn out the lights and see the Jack O Lantern all lit up while we sing "5 little pumpkins". The kids love it. Daddy is always in charge of baking the pumpkin seeds for us. They were especially tasty this year. Guess who liked the pumpkin seeds the most? Brooks Bellows! He was downing those like nobody's business! It was so funny.
