What did you do today?

***I wrote this post months ago when I was feeling very frustrated.  It really helped me see that I did get a lot done in one day although it certainly did not feel like it at the time.  It makes me tired just reading it!  I am glad we are past the "little" baby stage.

Most days I feel like I hardly get anything important accomplished that I wanted to.  Especially since I had Ryder I feel like I get nothing done during the day. So I decided to write it all down and it really helped me realize how much I accomplished that day. Try it and I bet you will be surprised how much you got done in one day!

Wake up 6:30 nurse baby/change diaper
Make 2 older kids breakfast
Make bottle for Brooks/change diaper/get him dressed
Make breakfast for Brooks
Clean up breakfast/Dishes/Make lunches and snacks for 2 older kids
Clean up breakfast for Brooks/Dishes
Change Ryder's diaper (again!)
Put baby to sleep
Get in workout clothes --Run 2.5 miles on treadmill (stop mid run to change another poopy diaper!)
Jump in the shower and get ready(interrupted many times by fights, crying, yelling, etc.)
Do Ashby/Dalton/Brooks hair
Help kids complete chores/brush teeth/get ready etc.
Load kids in car; drop Ashby to school
Take Dalton to school
Do Fast Glass work(online quotes) from home
Eat breakfast
Make Brooks a snack
Hang up Laundry in kids closets
Nurse baby/Change diaper/Change babies clothes from blowout (super fun!)
Play with Brooks & Ryder
Put Ryder to bed
Make Brooks Lunch/Clean up Lunch/Dishes
Change diaper from Brooks
Read stories-Put Brooks down for nap
Dalton comes home from Preschool--make & eat lunch with Dalton
Clean-Up lunch/Dishes
Start Dishwasher
Laundry- hanging up clothes
Play with Dalton
Reading lessons with Dalton & workbook pages
Fast Glass work (online quotes) from home
Organize kids closets from Summer to Fall/Winter clothes
Clean floors/counters/pick up house
Set Dalton up for Quiet Time
Nurse Ryder/change diaper
Fast Glass work (online quotes) from home
Primary work for calling
Make snack for Brooks and Dalton
Put Ryder to sleep in Carrier
Go pick up Ashby from school(read Scriptures or Conference talks while waiting in car)
Make snack for Ashby
Help with homework
Play with Ashby/Dalton/Brooks
Pick up house-finish hanging up laundry (finally!)
Do Fast Glass work (online quotes) from home
Nurse Ryder/Change diaper
Make dinner(while keeping Brooks from killing himself(he is an obsessive climber) and helping kids with anything they need)
Change diaper Brooks
Empty Dishwasher
Help kids complete chores
Finish/eat dinner/Clean up/Dishes
Take Ashby to Soccer Practice
Nurse Ryder/change diaper
Give Dalton and Brooks a bath
Make bottle, read stories, put Brooks to bed
Help Ashby and Dalton get ready for bed brush/floss teeth, etc.
Read scriptures, prayer, stories, put Ashby and Dalton to bed.
Give Ryder a bath
Put Ryder to sleep
Pick up downstairs
Make phone calls, Primary stuff, blog, etc.
Get ready for bed
Nurse Ryder-put to bed
10pm--go to bed!


**Side-note: Ryan had his judgeship this day so he didn't get home until after 9pm. When he is home I normally don't have to do everything by myself which helps a lot!!
