I found this amazing lady Monica who makes the cutest aprons on Facebook. Her company is called SookEe Designs (you can check out her blog here). Love them!! The colors were my inspiration for the whole party. Just darling. I might have her make one my size. :)
Ashby was so excited to have a pajamas and pancakes party on her actual Birthday. It worked out perfect this year because her Birthday was on a Monday and just happened to fall on President’s Day so there was no school. She was so excited she didn’t have to wait for her party until later in the day. We all sang to her first thing in the morning and let her open a present(Stompee Slippers). She wanted those slippers so bad! The ears flop up and down when she walks around in them. She had a light breakfast before her party started at 9:00.
Then it was party time!! Me and Ashby had so much fun planning her party together. It was neat to see her really want to be involved with all the party plans this year. She had some really great ideas for the party. We loved this pajamas and pancakes party idea we found online but we also wanted to do crafts with it because Ashby loves doing crafts. It was awesome seeing the whole thing come together in the end from a whole bunch of different ideas we had. So fun!
Donut cake
Cereal Bar.
Placemats for the girls to color.
Ashby picked which cereals she wanted for the cereal bar.
For crafts we had the girls decorate their own aprons to wear for the party when they first came into the party. Later we did a jewelry making craft. All the girls had so much fun and I thought the aprons turned out really cute.
