Fall Break- Fairytale Town

 IMG_3147
After the zoo we hit up FairyTale Town right across the street.  We had never been before so we were excited to see what it was like.  It turned out to be super fun.  All the kids loved it.  Everything in the park is after a Fairytale story or Mother Goose Rhyme.  Pretty cute.

The kids LOVED all the slides.  They were in Heaven.  Ryder was loving the Crooked Mile too.

After FairyTale Town we checked into our Hotel.  We found a great Residence Inn right on the Sacramento River in Downtown Sacramento.  The kids loved the view overlooking the water and watching the boats float by.  It worked out nice to have 2 rooms so Ryder had his own room.  The suite was plenty of space for all 6 of us.  The best part was the indoor pool and free breakfast.  We loved this place!!

After being out all day we really just wanted to chill so we ordered in room service for dinner.  It was delish and the kids thought it was the greatest thing ever!!

After a great breakfast at the Hotel we decided to take the kids to the Sacramento Temple to look around.  It was a bit tricky to get to but we found it okay.  It is so beautiful!  The kids loved it.

After a quick visit to the temple we ate lunch at our favorite Chick Fil A.  Then we did some shopping at the Roseville Galleria Mall.  It has one of my favorite stores Downeast Outfitters there.  Ryan was so sweet and took all 4 kids around while I did some shopping for myself.  It was awesome!!  I ended up getting a ton of clothes for myself and all the kids Christmas outfits.  A very successful shopping trip!!  Ryan took the kids to the Disney store and Ryder would not leave the store without this huge Zurg!!  He’s obsessed!!  He carried that huge box everywhere until we got to the car.  He still didn’t want to let go!!  He held onto that thing the whole drive home and eventually fell asleep holding it.  He cracks me up.  He is one determined boy.

Eventually all the kids fell asleep on the way home at the same time (miracles do happen).  They all had a pretty late night so they were tired.  Such a fun little trip!!  So glad we were able to go.
