I can’t believe Brooks turned 4 years old!  He is such a joy in our family!  He is our snuggly boy and loves to give hugs and sit on our laps to watch a show or read a book.  He is always giving us loves.  He is a very sweet boy who loves playing with his brothers and sister.  He is definitely a Daddy’s boy and insists Ryan put him to bed every. single. night.  He enjoys doing things with his hands like building, puzzles, coloring, etc.  He likes to figure things out by himself.  He is super independent and does everything on his own.  He can already button and unbutton his shirts, snap his pants, zip his coat, etc.  Brooks plays really well by himself.  He loves quiet time everyday where he gets to play in his room by himself while Ryder naps and Mommy gets stuff done.  He enjoys playing video games on his DS he got for his Birthday or on Ashby and Dalton’s Kindle.  He loves playing letter and number games.  He loves playing with Lego and Star Wars guys with castles and ships.  He loves reading stories before bed.  He is a great eater who likes a lot of healthy foods like carrots, broccoli, pickles, tomatoes, apples, oranges, strawberries, blue berries, etc.   He is great going to bed and never gets out of bed until we come get him the next morning.  He loves Legos, anything Star Wars, sword fighting, and wrestling and rough housing with Ryder.  He loves going to church in his new Sunbeams class and will be going to preschool in the Fall.  He loves going to the Library and playing outside.  He has a lot of energy and a fun enthusiasm for life that is contagious.  We waited a long time for him to come into our family.  He has been a wonderful blessing from our Heavenly Father.  Love our sweet little boy.  Happy Birthday Brooks! 2014-02-12 11.56.12 2014-02-12 11.48.44

Daddy took Brooks for his Birthday outing to Scheels.  They rode on the Ferris Wheel, played the shooting game, and even got lunch and ice cream.  Brooks was in Heaven!!
