First Child to visit the ER

Ryder was our first child to visit the ER.  We had quite a record going before this happened!  Four kids and Ashby is almost 11 years old.  He was reaching for some ice cream on our bar stools and fell backwards hitting his head on the other metal bar stool.  He got 2 staples in the back of his head.  He was so tough the Doctor just stapled it closed without even numbing the area.  After the Doctor stapled the wound Ryder looked up from playing the iPhone and said nonchalantly, “Ouch.”  Ha ha, what a tough kid.  He was smiling the whole time talking about the staples in  his head.
