Paradise Pier & Swimming

This is the lobby of the hotel we stayed at. We loved this place. It is located in the California Adventure Park and is basically a 3 minute walk to Disneyland. It was so nice to stay in the park. A few days we took the kids back to hotel for naps and swimming because it was such a short walk back to our room. The pool had a huge water slide that Ashby loved. Ashby and her cousin Austin went down the slide all by themselves over and over again! It was also nice staying at a Disney Hotel because you get to use what they call Magic Mornings (where you get to go inside the park 1 hour before it opens to the public). This was great for us because there were no wait times for the most popular rides early in the morning. The kids really enjoyed swimming at the pool. I was glad the weather was nice enough to go swimming every day.

Daddy and Dalton enjoying the kiddie pool. Another great feature of our Hotel pool was that it had 2 pools. A big one and a kid size pool with shallow heated water. Dalton loved the heated shallow pool. We finally got him to keep a life vest on and he enjoyed swimming around in it.

Nice goggles! Ashby loving the water slide. It was a long climb of stairs to the top but totally worth it. Look at that face! The greatest part of this water slide was the kids could do it all by themselves. So we were able to just sit and watch. Now that's my kind of vacation!
