I love Halloween. There are so many fun traditions we look forward to doing together as a family. Pumpkin carving is definitely one of them. In case you couldn't tell this was supposed to be a crooked skull carving.

Pumpkin seeds . . . mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Both Ashby and Dalton LOVED the baked pumpkin seeds.
After we are finished carving the pumpkins we put candles in the Jack O' Lanterns turn off all the lights and sing the song 5 little pumpkins sitting on a gate. We usually let the kids blow out the candle when we get to the part of the song that says, "and out went the lights . . ." They love this. We usually sing the song with the lights off 4 or 5 times at least.
