Ashby and Dalton really loved having swim lessons this month. They are sad it is over already. I keep reminding them we will have all summer to swim in our pool down the street. :)
This was the day they practiced swimming with life-jackets. Dalton's class was held in the Tot pool which is perfect because the temperature is warm and the kids can touch the bottom the whole length of the pool.

Swim lessons were a great success this year. For the past couple of years we have just signed the kids up for lessons at the local community center pool. We have found they do a really good job there. From swimming in the pool a couple of times a week last year at our pool Ashby really has become a great swimmer and loved to dive for things in the deep end. She was like a little Otter or something. Dalton did fine last summer but wouldn't get his face wet or go under the water. But after his 1st swim lessons this month he is doing bobs and going completely under the water with no problem. He really loved it! We were so happy. Ashby really started to improve on her strokes in her class too. It was really fun to see them improve and grow. They will be ready for a lot of days in the pool this Summer . . . Yay!!
