Look at that form on the plank pose!
trying to crawl . . . so not okay at this age!! I'm not ready for child-proofing yet.
I can't believe Brooks is already 6 months!! The time is just passing by too quickly. We are enjoying him so much though. A few things I want to remember about Brooks at this age:Brooks is a great sleeper. He sleeps for 11-12 hours straight at night. He goes to bed at 6:30pm and wakes up at 6:00 or 6:30am. Then he takes 3 naps a day for about 2 hours each. It is nice to have him on such a great schedule(thanks to Babywise and Happy Sleep Habits Happy Child books).
Brooks goes to sleep great for naps and bedtime. We just put him in his crib with his blanket and binkie awake and he will go to sleep on his own. Sometimes with a little crying sometimes with nothing at all.
He is sitting up on his own. He will sit and play with his toys by himself for awhile.
Brooks is strong and active already.
He army crawls anywhere to get what he wants.
Brooks gets up off the ground in the crawling position and rocks back and forth and tries to crawl.
He is a very happy, content, and calm baby. He has a mellow personality and just kind of goes with the flow.
He loves bath time especially if it is with Ashby and Dalton.
Brooks is very strong and will push himself up in the plank position and stay like that for awhile.
He loves to be on his tummy, even more than sitting up or on his back.
Brooks loves to make sounds and "talk" to us.
He is starting to be vocal when he wants our attention.
Brooks doesn't cry very often but when he does it is loud!
He is easily calmed by a voice talking to him or being held tightly with his blanket.
Brooks loves engaging with people. He will smile at anyone and loves to be held.
Brooks loves Mommy and Daddy and just adores Ashby and Dalton already. He instantly smiles when he hears any of our voices.
Love, love, love this little guy.

LOVING the plank pose! The third baby seems to grow so much faster than the first two. It's crazy.
He's so stinkin cute!! I can't believe he's already 6 months. Wow. Time flies. Hope you are well. Shanna
