Crawling . . .

Brooks started crawling this week.   Ahhhhh!!  It has been crazy.  He has been my youngest crawler at 6 months and I'm not so sure I like it at all!  He basically started crawling and sitting up at the same time, so I didn't get to enjoy the stage where they just sit and play with their toys.  I am so bummed about that!  I wanted to keep him immobile for much longer. 

He even learned how to sit himself up from the crawl position like this(which is kind of nice).  One day when I got him up from a nap he was sitting up in his crib looking at me.  I was so taken back by it.  He was just sitting there smiling at me like, "look what I can do!"

He can entertain himself for longer periods now, but he is getting into all sorts of things he is not supposed to already.  Ashby and Dalton think it is hilarious watching him crawl everywhere especially places he is not supposed to be in (ie the bathroom!).  Dalton and Brooks are already "playing" together now that he is crawling which is really fun to see.

Here is Dalton and Brooks one day when we were doing preschool together at home.  Dalton loves doing school together.  Brooks and Dalton especially loved singing all the songs together.  Well Brooks wasn't singing but enjoyed listening I should say. :)
