Easter Saturday

Saturday we had planned to do a egg hunt at the park near our house with a picnic lunch afterwards.  It ended up being wet and rainy all morning so Grandma Becky was brave enough to let us have the hunt in her basement.  The cousins were so excited!!  They each had their own sand bucket that matched the color of eggs they were supposed to find.  Ashby and Dalton loved finding all their hidden eggs and opening them for special surprises.  I think some of their favorites were the egg with 4 quarters, and the egg with a gold medal necklace in it.

 Brooks loved playing with and shaking his eggs.  We filled them with cheerios and other little snacks.  He loved it!  He would keep one egg in each hand and want someone to open and close the egg over and over again.

 After the hunt we had a yummy lunch and headed home to dye some Easter eggs.  The kids had fun and really enjoyed seeing the finished product come out of the colored water.

 Dalton and Ashby love playing and doing things together.  They were pretty much inseparable during Ashby's school break.  I love it!
