Ahhhhhhh. I LOVE Summer time!! It's the middle of June and it is FINALLY beginning to feel like Summer around here!! We are loving it now that is hot enough to swim in our pool. Dalton and Ashby ask me if we can go swimming everyday. They love to swim! So whenever it is hot enough we have been going. Brooks loves the water too. It is fun taking them but it definitley wears me out!
Ashby is my diving girl and loves to dive for things underwater.

Dalton is such a little fish now. He is jumping in from the sides of the pool in the deep end and practices swimming with no floaties. He loves diving for things underwater with his googles. Swimming lessons were so great for him this year.
If Brooks isn't in the water he loves to sit in the wagon, eat his snacks and watch all the kids in the pool. He is such a good little boy!
We love having friends and cousins come to the pool to play. The kids always have a blast playing together! Here is cousins and best buds Dalton and Ben.
I was thinking it would be kind of sad to have the kids not be able to go to the pool as much once the baby comes in a month. So I went to good ol' Wally World and got a great backyard wading pool with a slide. I figure that way the kids can swim in the backyard at least when the new baby is here.
All the kids had so much fun with this little pool! Brooks was a maniac going down the little slide by himself. He was cracking us up!
So much fun!!
Ashby got her ears pierced!! She has been wanting to for awhile now so we set up a list of responsibilities and chores she had to complete everyday for 2 months without fail. If she missed a day she had to start over. She ended up not missing a day! We were really proud of her. She did a great job. So on Friday the whole family took a trip to the mall to get her ears pierced. She was so brave. She barely even flinched. She said, "I'm surprised that didn't even hurt!" They did 1 ear at a time b/c their was only 1 worker there who was certified to do ear piercing. I was very impressed! She was so happy afterwards and grateful. She looks so cute too! Afterwards we all had Dairy Queen treats. It was a fun night.
