Ashby working on a cross word puzzle in her new 2nd grade classroom!! Her teacher is Ms. Evans and Ashby really likes her. She is getting so big I still can't believe it.
On a side note, we found out they are going to have a 2nd grade gifted and talented program this year. Since Ashby qualified it will be at her school 1 day a week for a few hours. We are excited for her to start this week!
A few pictures at the house before we headed off to school. Ryan was out of town for work this day so we didn't get any pics of Daddy . . . and luckily Dalton knows how to take pictures (he took the one of me and Ashby below)!

Ashby lining up for her 1st day. She was a little bummed her best friend Catelyn wasn't in her class but she does know a few other girls in her class and was excited about that. She came home later that day and said her day was great and her teacher was really nice.

Glad to hear Ashby will get to do Gate. She will have a lot of fun.
