Fireworks

Well I finally let the older two kids stay up and watch the fireworks this year.  This was a first.  It was so great that we went with my sister Kristi and her boys.  They found the perfect spot.  We ended up in the parking lot of Scheels right by the Marina.  We had an a perfect unobstructed view of the Fireworks.  It was awesome! The kids had so much fun playing and waiting with their cousins Ben and Sam.  Me and my sis had fun chatting too. 

Of course the time I take the kids to see the fireworks for the first time they were delayed by 45 minutes.  We almost left because it was so late but we ended up staying and were so glad we waited it out.  It was worth it.  It also helped that Uncle Evan got the kids Slurpees and chips while they were waiting. :)  Thanks E!

Happy 4th of July!!!

The kids were so excited to finally see the fireworks!  I loved watching their faces and hear their excitement as they watched the show.  So glad we went.  

In the morning we had a pool party and lunch afterwards at our house.  It was so fun.  The cousins and adults all had a blast.  Too bad I didn't get any pics.  All the kids were loving swimming together.  It was a great 4th of July!
