Easter egg hunt and dinner on Saturday with Bellows family. All the cousins loved playing together. Grandma and Grandpa always put together a great Easter egg hunt for the kids. They each have their own color egg to look for and inside are prizes, candy, or money. They have a great yard to hide the eggs in and the kids love running around outside. We lucked out with nice weather this year!
Afterwards Grandpa lit the fire for the kids to watch. They were cracking us up telling each other scary stories around the camp fire.
Easter Sunday our tradition is to hide the Easter baskets somewhere in the house and the kids get to find them Easter morning. We also put a picture of Christ in their baskets to have in their rooms. It helps them remember why we celebrate Easter.
Dalton after finding his basket.
Ashby found her basket in the oven!
Brooks found his behind the curtains.
Ashby’s Easter hair-do we tried out. After church while the little boys were sleeping we dyed Easter eggs with Ash and Dalt. They loved it.
Easter dinner we had at Grandma and Papa’s house. Dinner was delish. Afterwards Mom organized several Easter egg hunts for the kids inside. They each had a color egg they were looking for. We played a hot and cold game to help them find their eggs upstairs. Then they had more eggs downstairs that they had to find. They each got to decorate their own Easter bags to put them in with stickers and markers. They all had fun playing together and being at Grandma and Papas house. Poor Ryder fell and got a big goose-egg on his forehead. He was fine but it looked pretty bad. Poor little guy. This is just the age for those head bumps!
