Mother’s Day was a great day. I was showered with all kinds of gifts and cards from the kids and Ryan. I even got to sleep in a little. After I woke up the kids were excited to give me all their presents and cards. Most of them were hand-made all by themselves, of course I cried reading them they were so heartfelt and sweet. One of my favorites was Ashby’s newspaper she wrote all about me. She even wrote a page that had a petition that I was the best mom that had 46 signatures on it. Her creativity is just awesome! We all got ready to go to church it was nice to have Ryan home for a change because they canceled all morning meetings. He even took a picture of me and the kids before church without one snide comment. Ha ha. Church was great and I even got to hear Ashby and Dalton sing a few Mother’s Day songs for me in Sacrament. After church we made dinner for Ryan’s family. Ashby and Kelsey made these cute flower place settings. We had my favorite Hawaiian haystacks with frozen strawberry dessert. Ryan spoiled me with a new cookbook and a gift card to Legends. I love being a Mother! I cherish my children each day and I am so grateful to be their Mother. I am truly blessed. Happy Mother’s Day!
