Our little pool here in our gated community is open for the Summer. We were so pumped we had to go on the 1st day it opened. The kids were super excited and enjoyed swimming in the water for a couple of hours. This nice lady at the pool insisted she take a picture for us. Ryan was thrilled! NOT! Dalton was not cooperating for the pic of course. But he had a great time swimming in the pool. At one point Dalton told Ryan(who was easing his way into the cold water VERY slowly), "Come on Daddy and join the fun!"
Dalton LOVED jumping off the side into Daddy's arms. We have to watch this little guy he is quite the daredevil.
This is a funny story. I've actually never had anyone say this to me before; but while we were swimming in the pool another woman asked me if Dalton and Ashby were twins!! When I said no they were not. She was surprised and asked how far apart they were. She couldn't believe they were 2 1/2 years apart. I think they must look similar size when they are in the water....but it was humorous because Ashby is a lot taller than Dalton is. It gave us a good laugh.
We had so much fun as a family at the pool. It seems like we have been so busy these past couple of months. It was nice to just relax and play at the pool together. 
Dalton really surprised us in the pool. He just swam the whole time by himself in this little tube. Keeping himself a float and kicking himself all around the pool. I guess I should get him in swim lessons soon!
Ashby has started swim lessons again this month. She really loves to swim. She has done a great job so far. She is improving her swim stroke and working on her "superman" swimming underwater. It is really nice to see her confidence in the water and not have to worry about her swimming by herself. She is a great little swimmer.

Great pictures! Sounds like Justin and Ryan would get along well in a pool (both slow to enter cold water). :) I like that Ryan's skin color resembles mine--how are you so tan already?
Ha ha. Ryan IS very white. Both our poor kids were blessed with his skin too. They're going to love that when their older! My tan comes from playing with the kids outside any time it is sunny...sometimes in my bathing suit (he he) :).
