Ashby had her first basketball experience Saturday! She was so excited to play. We had been wanting to start her in a league at the community center but missed the deadline. Ryan read in the paper that the
UNR Women's basketball team was hosting a free basketball clinic for girls ages K-8
th grade for a couple hours on Saturday. We thought it would be the perfect introduction to basketball for her. The players coached and ran the camp. They were really good with the girls and did a great job. Ashby had a blast and says she
definitely wants to play ball.
Yay!! They were given free T-shirts too. It was a fun day.
