Alpha-friends Musical

Ashby's teacher puts on an end of the year Alpha-friends musical put on by the kids. Each child is a letter of the alphabet. Each child is also a certain alpha-friend they had to make and wear a costume to represent. Ashby was Mimi Mouse. They each had a part they had to memorize and say during the musical. Every letter had a little song with actions the children all sang after each alpha-friend said their part. It turned out really cute. Ashby's teacher Mrs. Gilkey is a former music teacher so they learned a lot through music and movement in her class. The kids LOVED it!
The scenery for the musical were paintings the children did themselves of the alpha friend they were in the play. The kids were all really proud of their art-work. I thought it was such a cute idea.

Ashby and her friend Amber (who was the letter Z for Zebra can you tell?!). All the kids costumes turned out super cute. It was fun to see what everyone came up with.
Ashby and her good friend Kylie. Her Mom Callie is amazing. I just love her. She sewed and made up this darling Kangaroo costume herself. I can't sew a button on a shirt so I was very impressed!
Ashby saying her part, "Hi I'm Mimi Mouse. mmmmm "M". Mimi Mouse, Mimi Mouse minds her manners in the house. When she sips her milk she never makes a mess. Mud pies never stain her dress."

Ashby was really cute during the musical. She was always singing and doing the actions. She was very animated the whole time. She was fun to watch. I am finding out how much Ashby really loves dancing and singing.

Great job Mimi Mouse!! :)
