Stef's 30th Bday

I have to admit I still get really excited for my birthday. It must be the little kid in me. Anyone who knows me well knows that I am famous for having not only a birth"day" but a birthday week. So this year I did not dissappoint. Ryan took the day off work and let me sleep in a bit and go for a 3 mile run. Now that is bliss! When I got back Ryan and the kids had some presents and cards on the table waiting for me. Ryan got me a digital photo frame and some birthday cash(my favorite :) ).

He took Ashby to school and took Dalton into work with him for a few hours while Brooks and I stayed at home and I got ready for the day. Then Ryan picked up Ashby from school and brought home Port Of Subs for lunch. Then my Mom took me birthday shopping. I got some really cute clothes and shoes; and some fun kitchen stuff from Bed, Bath and Beyond. Thanks Mom!! It was so fun to do some shopping with my Mom and get some one-on one time without kids.

Later Ryan's parents came over and watched the kids for the afternoon while Ryan and I did some more shopping at the Legends outlets and went to an early dinner at Vista Grille. It was really yummy.



Then on Saturday we did a little birthday celebration lunch for me at Black Rock Pizza. One of my favorite pizza places. It was really yummy and nice to get together with Ryan's family. I also received some birthday cash from his brothers and parents. Love that! :)My parents started doing a new tradition of birthday dinners once a month each month for all the birthdays in that month. I happen to be the only June birthday in our whole family! So we had a dinner celebration just for me. :) I requested strawberry shortcake for dessert with real whip cream (the best). Dinner was so delish! Thanks Mom and Dad!!
