Brooks continues to be such a joy to us. I can't believe he is already 10 months old! He is still such a happy baby. He smiles constantly and is a joy to everyone around him. He is very active and loves to crawl and cruise around and get into plenty of things he is not supposed to. He stands up by himself and takes a few steps on his own. He still prefers to crawl around best. He is obsessed with people food and eats baby food in addition to whatever the family is having for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
I weaned him this month and he is taken to the bottle quite nicely. He goes to bed great for naps and bedtime without a fuss. He remains a wonderful sleeper and will go 12 hours a night straight. He adores taking a bath with Ashby and Dalton. He just watches them play intently and loves to interact with them.
Brooks started waving hi and bye to people. He also started saying a few words like mama, dada, baba, and hi. He loves to try to "talk" to Ashby and Dalton. We are trying to teach him some sign language which he loves.Brooks discovered the Christmas tree in our family room. He will crawl into the other room and just stare at it all lit up in the dark. Then he likes to take the ornaments off the tree and toss them like balls on our hard wood floors. His other favorite spot to play is the bathroom! If the bathroom door is left open he is in there in 1 second flat.
Brooks is very attached to Mommy of course but Daddy is still on his top list of favorites. He loves when Daddy comes home from work everyday. Brooks will stop whatever he is doing when he hears Ryan come in the door and crawl over to him with a big smile on his face until Daddy picks him up. It is so cute. We are so grateful to have this little guy in our family. What a blessing he is!!
