Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas this year.  It always thrills me to see the excitement and pure joy on the kids faces on Christmas morning.  This year our family outgrew our Christmas tree room so we had to move all the presents into the bigger family room.  It ended up working out great.  Here was the sight on Christmas morning.
Ashby opening her stocking.  She is looking at a silver necklace she got with the letter A on it.  She loved it.
Dalton checking out his stocking.  His favorite item in the stocking I think was a general grevious(star wars) dog tag.
Brooks got a new walker, which he thoroughly enjoyed throughout the day.

Ashby with her Zooables.
Dalton excited about his Special Agent Oso boat.
Ashby with her new Barbie Razor Scooter.
Dalton is obsessed with Star Wars these days.  The first present he opened was this Captain Rex helmet!  He was beyond thrilled.  Look at that face!
Another favorite present was his two-sided general grevious light saber.  Grandma & Grandpa Forman showed Dalton how to use it later that night.  He was so excited.
The kids left cookies and milk out for Santa and in return he left them a few notes.  They were clues leading to their last individual presents and their last family present.  Ashby's last present was hidden in the laundry room where she found a princess dream castle.  Dalton's was a new bike in the garage.  Their family present was in the exercise room upstairs . . .  an air hockey table.  They were very surprised and happy.  They love playing it together.  Ashby is quite the player and can beat me pretty handily.
Ashby and Daddy Christmas morning.
Ashby opening a Tangled leapster game and Tinkerbell DVD.
Daddy and Dalton Christmas morning.  One of Dalton's favorite presents was definitely the Star Wars Tent you can see in the background.  He has been playing and sleeping in it for naps and quiet time.  It has been quite a hit.
This gift got the best reaction for Dalton for sure!  Star Wars Lego Wii game.  He was so pumped.  It was hard to get a picture of him b/c he was jumping for joy all around the house when he opened it.
Our Christmas this year was nice and relaxed b/c we were able to do Christmas with the Bellows family on Christmas Eve Day.  We stayed home all day and the kids played with all there new stuff.  My parents and David came for Christmas dinner later that night.  We had a yummy meal of Tortilla Soup, hot artichoke dip, and later ice cream crepes for dessert.  It was a wonderful night of visiting and enjoying being together.  We are so blessed to have so much family so close.  It was truly a Merry Christmas.

As usual we must have been typing these blogs at the same time. I totally agree it was so nice to have Christmas Eve at Cheri and Richards. We enjoyed being home Christmas Day. It was fun seeing you guys and having the kids be together.
