Christmas Eve/Live Nativity 2010

Christmas Eve we have a tradition with the Forman side of the family of doing a live Nativity performed by all the cousins/grandchildren.  My Mom always hosts a wonderful dinner and afterwards we have the short program/nativity.  My Mom always makes it pretty short for the kids' sake and their is plenty of songs to sing and movement for the kids to participate in.

The kids really look forward to this tradition each year.  It helps us all remember why we celebrate Christmas.  This year Dalton was a wiseman and Ashby was Mary.
Ashby usually plays the part of the angel every year.  This year Grandma asked her to play the part of Mary.  Ashby was sooooo excited.  She has always wanted to play Mary.  She loved every minute of it and did a great job!
The 3 wiseman (Dalton, Ben, & Sam).  These cousins love playing together
and made very cute wisemen.  They all said their parts by heart and loved being all dressed up.

Afterwards we have dessert and each grandchild gets to open 1 present from Grandma and Grandpa.  It is always cute pajamas.

After the festivities at my Mom's house we came home and had the kids open 1 present from us as well.  It is always Christmas pajamas and slippers.  The kids loved them.
The kids were pretty tired by the end of the night and went to bed right away.
