Ryder-4 months

 My sweet Ryder!  I cannot believe he is 4 months already.  I wish I could stop him from growing up so fast.  He is at such a fun age right now.  He smiles and laughs all the time.  We have a lot of fun talking to him and making him give us those big smiles. 

 His favorite things to play with are his hands.  He will chew on them and look at them for entertainment all day long.  He likes to sit in his bouncer and grab the toys on the toy bar.  He likes to lay on a blanket on the floor and roll over.  He loves watching everyone around him.  He loves when anyone in our family talks to him.  He just smiles so big when the kids pay attention to him.  It is the cutest thing.  Even little Brooks will change his voice to a high pitched baby voice when he talks to Ryder and treats him gently.

 Ryder likes to coo and talk to us a lot.  When I change him he is very ticklish and will laugh when my hands brush his side or belly.  I love that.  He rolls over both ways when he is on the floor.  He loves to take out his pacifier with his hands and play with it then try to put it back in his mouth.  It's pretty funny.

 He still has blue eyes and dark hair.  He has lost some but has kept quite a bit of it as well.  It looks funny because it is so long in some parts and shorter in others.  Hopefully it will even out in time. :)  He is a good eater as you can tell by those chubby cheeks!  I love them, they are soo kissable!

 Ryder loves taking baths.  He is really wiggly and moves around a lot in the water.  It cracks me up.

We started moving Ryder's bedtime back to an earlier time now and eliminate the late night feeding which has been nice. Now he goes to bed around 7:00ish and wakes up around 6:00am sometimes earlier if he gets hungry. Then he will go back to sleep for another couple of hours. It is a good little routine and hopefully he will keep it up! He still nurses every 3-4 hours and naps 4 times a day. He is a great sleeper and I always put him to bed awake and he puts himself to sleep without a fuss. I've said it before but he really is such a great baby, especially as a 4th child! We feel very blessed.

 He loves to sit in the Bumbo seat now.  It is a nice break from being on his back all the time.  You can tell he likes to sit up and see the world from a different view.  I think they look so funny when they sit in these.
