This is truly the best time of year!! I love getting the house all ready for Christmas. This year we had our tree up and the house all decorated Thanksgiving day(I know crazy right?!). We usually wait until the day after but Ryan took the week off work so it worked out perfect to have him around to help.
This has been one of the most loved decorations of the house. The kids love writing their letters to Santa and putting them in the mailbox.
Another favorite: the nativity. We only have one the kids can play with for now. And they absolutely LOVE this set. They look forward to this the most out of all the things we take out of the Christmas bins. Ashby and Dalton have been taking turns setting up the Nativity each day. I love seeing how each one does it. It is always different each day. This day was Dalton's turn . . . so cute. I like how he put the Shepherd on the camel. :)

I love our tree. We bought it probably 5 years ago. I thought I was buying a tree with white lights (my favorite) but they sent me home with the wrong box and it was the colored lights one. I was disappointed when I got home but when we put it up for the first time I actually really liked the colored lights so needless to say we kept it!

Brooks has been a nightmare with the tree and all the decorations. He is constantly going in and taking ornaments off the tree. He loves the round ones (of course) he thinks they are balls and throws them across the room!
We love this busy, mischievous little guy. He cracks us up. He is always smiling and so happy. We love teaching him new words. He repeats everything! It can be pretty funny.
Dalton and Ashby LOVED decorating the tree. I loved watching them go through the ornaments and see their excitement as they remembered each one and finding their favorites. That is one of my favorite memories growing up. Decorating the Christmas tree and going through our own box of ornaments that we had collected from year to year. It is so fun watching my kids create these special memories now. I can remember sneaking into the Christmas tree room and just looking at it in awe. It all seemed so magical.

Posing for a picture for Mom. These two know the drill! ha ha!

and so is the banner . . . isn't it fun? Got the idea and free printable here.
Also got the great Subway art(hanging on the wall) from here too. My new favorite blog!
This little magnet board I made is another idea I got from here and here and modified it for Christmas. So fun! I am addicted to all these great craft/decor blogs.
I hope you have fun decking your halls! Merry Christmas!!!!

Your home looks great! I just found the Fisher Price Little People Nativity set a few days ago and love it! Such a great idea for the kids. And we have the same problem- for some reason the ornaments do NOT stay on the tree. I guess they're just too fun for the kids, but at least they make most of them plastic nowadays. We got your Christmas card today- so beautiful. :)
