I had a really great birthday this year! It is my fourth 29th birthday! :) It fell on a Sunday and it was our stake conference too. I love it when Ryan gets to sit with us at church it is the best! As you can tell the kids were Super excited to take a picture with me before church! ha!
Before church the kids made me breakfast and gave me some cute cards. Then Ryan gave me a few presents. He got me a bunch of new workout equipment that I was so excited about! He got me a sandbag and a pull up bar that attaches to the door frame. It has been so great for my workouts at home. I have been loving it! And the kids got me Just Dance 3 for the Wii! Which is totally awesome! Me and the kids love playing it together. Brooks already knows most of the songs on there. :P
After church my Mom and Dad invited us over for dinner and dessert. My Mom wanted me to pick the menu for the night. We had ham, funeral potatoes, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. It was sooo good! We had so much fun hanging out with Mom and Dad. I feel so blessed to have such great parents. The kids loved singing me Happy Birthday and helping me blow out the candles.
Friday night Ryan and I were able to sneak away for dinner and a movie together. It was so much fun. I love having Ryan to myself for a few hours. :) He really spoiled me....I am one lucky girl. Then Saturday me and Ashby got pedicures together. I love having a fun tradition to do with my little girl. So much fun! What a great bday weekend!
So after dinner we were enjoying the nice weather outside letting the kids run around outside with the dog. They had so much fun. Especially Brooks, he is a maniac around dogs! He just goes crazy any time he sees a dog. He kept hugging Callie and trying to wrestle her to the floor. He would just squeal with excitement and chase her around the yard non stop. He had us all just cracking up at his craziness!
My parents got out the doggie pool and Brooks immediately says to the dog, "Come on Callie, let's go in the water!" After they both got in and the dog starts to paw at the water making huge splashes, Brooks does the exact same thing with his feet! He just starts kicking his feet as hard as he can splashing water around everywhere and laughing and laughing the whole time. It was so funny! This kid just loves dogs! What a crack up.
