Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

DSC_29594x6We had some fun taking shots of the kids in front of the Christmas tree in their Christmas Pajamas.  I love how they turned out!  I got the idea from pinterest.  Turn off all the lights in your house except the tree {of course}, turn your camera to Manual or turn the flash off on your camera and set the ISO to high and shutter speed slow.  Give it a try!     DSC_29664x6I love this one of Ashby and Dalton kissing Brooks!  Precious!  So we got a new tree this year.  I was so excited!  The lights on our last tree wouldn’t work anymore so we found one we liked at Costco.  It is beautiful.  We had some trouble finding a good spot for our tree in the house because it was quite a bit bigger than our other one and we put our new piano where the tree went last year.  We finally rearranged some furniture and found the perfect spot for it.  My favorite part is how the light of the tree reflects onto the picture of the Savior on the wall. It is such a magical and wonderful time of year.  I love watching my children’s eyes light up Christmas morning at all the presents under the tree, or when it snows, or looking at the Christmas tree in the dark.  I love these small simple moments.  I wish I could freeze time and make it stand still forever.  In my head this is how I will always picture my four little children huddled around the Christmas tree looking at it with wonder and awe.  We are so blessed to have these sweet spirits in our home.  I will always treasure the time I have to spend with them.
