Ward Party & Santa

DSC_32434X6DSC_0030DSC_32444X6 DSC_32474X6DSC_32494X6DSC_32564X6DSC_32534X6DSC_32554X6 We had our ward Christmas breakfast again this year.  The kids were so excited to meet Santa and wear their pajamas!!  The Relief Society was in charge of the activity so we had fun planning it together.  We loved the idea last year of a hot chocolate bar, so we did that again.  For breakfast we had a buffet of fruit, muffins, egg casseroles, and sausage.  The food was great and the kids loved meeting Santa and playing with all their friends.  I was surprised Brooks wanted to sit on Santa’s lap.  He loved it!  He even told Santa he wanted Woody from Toy Story for Christmas.  Ryder actually wanted to sit on Santa’s lap but he was irritated that we waited too long to put him on his lap, so when it was finally his turn he was mad!!  Ashby asked for all the kids in the world to get their wishes and for an American girl doll.  Dalton asked for it to snow and for some Legos.  DSC_0017DSC_0018DSC_0020 DSC_0106 DSC_0109 We had people bring gingerbread houses for the table centerpieces.  Everyone could vote on which house they liked the best.  It was fun to see all the different houses people decorated.  Too bad ours didn’t win. :)DSC_0114

Some of us on the activities committee and a few others performed some Christmas songs on the Chimes for part of the program.  My friend Callie found these cute aprons for us to wear too.  We had a good time with it.  I went early to set up the church and when Ryan came later and brought the kids they saw me in my apron.  Brooks was so excited about it.  He kept saying over and over, “Mommy, your an elf!!” or “Mommy are you an elf?” or “I like your elf shirt Mommy!”.  It was too funny.
