Oh the joys of family pictures! I personally think taking pictures is fun. I always have. Ryan on the other hand thinks it is pure torture. Knowing that, I am even more grateful he participates and lets me get our family pictures done at least once a year (usually more).It does help that we have my fabulous sister Kristi who is a genius photographer to call at a moments notice for pictures.
It also helps now that I have learned how to swap faces in my Adobe Photo Elements program on the computer. The above picture I actually swapped out Ashby's, Dalton's, and my face for ones from different pictures. 
Kristi came over to the house and took some more pictures of just the kids. I was so happy the way they turned out. I loved Kristi's idea of taking the pictures in front of our house. The covered porch and stacked brick made for a really unique and cool background I would have never thought of.
Ashby is at a great picture taking age now. She really knows how to smile and pose. :)
This look is sooooo Dalton! Such a classic look from him I see all the time. Love it.

Aunt Kristi could really get Dalton laughing and smiling. He absolutely ADORES her. It is really cute.
Brooks is at such a fun age. It is so easy to get a smile out of him. I can't get enough of this cute little boy.

Cute pictures! Your kids are growing up so fast I can't believe it. Remember when Ryan stayed with us for a couple of months and you would come and visit. It seems like yesterday. That was fun we enjoyed that. We feel like we really got to know you so well. You guys are raising such a cute family. Keep up the good work.
