Lemonade Stand

Ashby named her lemonade "American Lemonade" and had the idea of taping the flag to her sign (a nice touch I thought :) )

Ashby has been asking me to help her do a lemonade stand for about a year now.  I kept telling her we had to wait until Summer to do one.  Finally the perfectly hot Saturday came and we were able to do a lemonade stand together.  We had so much fun!

Ashby loved having customers stop by(especially both Grandparents and uncle Alex).  Every time a car would drive by Ashby would stand up and smile at them, and if they kept driving she just smiled at me and said, "they must not have had any money." 

She did pretty well for 1 hours worth of work and came home with $20.00.  It was a great way to teach her about money and also about paying her tithing.  I'm glad Ashby had the idea to do it!!
