The 2nd grade at Ashby's school does a cute tradition before Mother's Day called Moms and Muffins. A little before school starts the Friday before Mother's day all the 2nd graders and their Moms get to come in and have muffins and juice together. The kids all get to serve their Mothers too. Which the kids totally love. They had the tables all decorated with table cloths and candy kisses. Ashby was so excited to serve me breakfast. She was very happy it was just the two of us. Yes... we even coordinated our outfits. Ha ha!
It was so fun to have some one on one time with Ashby. It was a crazy busy week so I thought I was going to have to haul all the boys to this event by myself but luckily Ryan (who was going to be out of town) surprised me by setting up a babysitter for the other kids so I could go just me and Ashby. It was such a treat. Ryan is the most thoughtful person I know.....seriously. I want to be like him when I grow up!
