Boys are fun

Okay I admit it boys are fun.  Well sometimes anyway.  Just give them a rocket laucher and some rubber band toys and you are good to go!

  The other day we had Dalton's little buddy over for a playdate.  The boys were so cute together.  They had such a fun time playing together.  I took them to lunch and then the park where they did the rocket launcher.  I swear to you it is the best $7.00 we have ever spent.  That thing is awesome!  You step or jump on the launcher and the rocket flies in the air.  I mean flies!  You can get those arrows really high in the air.  Even little Brooks could get the rockets really high(the older boys got a kick out of watching Brooks launch it himself).    The boys even let me do it a few times.  It was awesome.

It never gets old either. They could have stayed all day at the park doing it.

I found this idea on Pinterest a couple of weeks ago.  It has been a hit with the boys.  Ashby really likes it too but she is in school all day so doesn't get to play with it as much as the boys.  It is a homemade giant geoboard.  I got the idea from here.  It is really simple and inexpensive.  It has been a great toy.  Love it!  I made 2 boards so it is perfect to play with a friend too.

Dalton has been getting back into Super Mario Brothers lately.  I thought it was really cute how the boys used the boards to play with their little Mario figures.  They were having a lot of fun.
