Swim Lessons

Ashby and Dalton LOVE swim lessons!  They have taken to the water like fish.  So they were so excited to take them again this year.  I was really impressed with these two, they are getting to be quite the little swimmers.  It's great to see how much they improve from year to year.  They passed each of their classes into the next levels.  They were just beaming with excitement after the last class to tell me they had passed.  I was so proud of them.  Ryan was out of town a lot this month for work and Grandma Becky was so great to help take the kids to their lessons.  Ashby and Dalton loved having her take them especially getting A &W afterwards!  Thanks Mom!

Dalton loves swimming underwater, holding his breath and is really good at the back float.  Ashby learned how to dive from the side of the pool, tread water for 5 min, and her swim strokes have gotten so smooth and effortless.  I am so proud of these two!  

Dalton's favorite part was jumping from the side of the pool at the end of class.  Ashby's class gets to jump off the diving board at the end of class. Ashby loved getting to do that
every class!

We filled up the hot tub for the Spring and Summer and the kids have been loving it!  They ask to go in it nightly.  Brooks thought it was the best thing ever!  It has been a fun thing for the kids to do in the early evening.  Now Ryan and I need to get in and enjoy it a little more after the kids are in bed. :)  I am getting so excited for the Summer and swimming at the pool every week!  Yay for Summer!
