Ryder turns 2!!

DSC_6062LOLADSC_5949 DSC_5955unedit DSC_5945 DSC_5931DSC_5898 DSC_5882 DSC_5885 I can’t believe my baby is 2 already!  The past 2 years have really just flown by.  Ryder at two is a bundle full of fun energy!   I love his dark hair and blue eyes, he is so different from our other 3! Do you know how hard it is to take pictures of a two year old?!  Nearly impossible.  Luckily I have a good camera that shoots multiple frames per second.  He is always moving, jumping, climbing, or yelling.  He loves wrestling, playing swords, climbing and jumping off the couches, playful hitting and messing around with his brothers.  He is a rough and tumble boy.  He is really tough too.   It takes a lot to get him hurt.  Steal his favorite toy however he’s spilling alligator tears galore!!   He is generally very happy.  He does like to throw some serious fits when he doesn’t get what he wants.  They usually don’t last long when he realizes he is being ignored.  Sometimes he wakes up super happy other times when he hasn’t gotten enough sleep he wakes up super cranky.  Its hard to get him so stop crying once he is really upset.  He is definitely strong willed and super independent (big surprise . . . ALL my kiddos are!!).  He loves playing outside and swinging.  He loves riding his tricycle with his feet (he doesn’t pedal yet just pushes along with his feet).  He LOVES I mean LOVES to run!!  He runs every where as fast as he can.  He still loves balls, kicking, throwing, or catching.  He’s all about it.  I’m hoping he’s going to be the athlete we’ve been waiting for!! :)  His favorite movies are Beauty and the Beast, Monsters Inc., and Caillou.  He still loves his blankies for bed. He goes down great for bed and naps and loves snuggling up for stories.  He gives the best kisses to everyone before bedtime.  He is really sweet and will share when you ask him to.  He loves saying, “Hi, hi, hi!”  to people and then bye bye when we leave.  He’s attached pretty evenly to Ryan and I, but probably a little more towards me.  He still is a great eater.  He loves fruits, cut up veggies, yogurts, sandwiches, cheese, milk, smoothies, etc.  He loves saying, No, but also says, Yes a lot too.  It’s pretty cute.  He is saying a ton of words and putting some together in small sentences.  Some of his favorite books are Elmo’s blanket, red hat blue hat, and 100 first words.  It will be fun watching him learn and grow more this year.  We love this little guy!!  Happy Birthday Ryder!  We are so blessed to have you in our family.
