Ryder-9 months

Ryder is 9 months old.  I can hardly believe it.  Time is just flying by.  What can I say about Ryder?! He is a complete joy!  He is growing and changing so much each month.  I love watching him grow and develop.  Ryder loves crawling around everywhere.  His favorite thing to do is put any little thing he finds on the floor into his mouth.  It is kind of scary.  But it makes me keep the floors really clean. :P
Ryder is a crack up with the baby food.  He opens his mouth so wide for each bite just like a baby bird.  He loves it!  He also loves playing with the spoon after we are done.  :)
Ryder is at the stage where he is starting to be difficult to take pictures of.  When I get out the camera he will crawl right over to me and try to come onto my lap and get the camera.  This is usually the shot I always get.  I love those baby blue eyes.  I noticed his hair getting lighter this month too.  It seems to be more like Brooks' hair color now.

Ryder got his 1st two teeth this month.  They are the two on the bottom.  He had been drooling a lot and wanting to chew on things constantly so I knew they were coming soon.
Ryder will push up on this hands and knees to crawl the normal way but then he will plop down and army crawl anywhere he wants to go.  He is really fast and strong.  I noticed he is more aware of his surroundings now.  Stranger anxiety is starting to show up for sure.  Like when I leave the room he protests and doesn't want me to go or he gets worried when someone else is holding him or he starts crying when a stranger talks to him whereas before he would just smile at anyone who talked to him or looked his way.
It is funny because we have always thought Ryder has his own unique look but the older he gets the more and more I see Brooks and Dalton in him.
Ryder is still on the same sleeping and eating schedule.  He has 4-5 bottles a day and 2 meals accompained with baby food.  He takes two 2 hour naps during the day and a short late afternoon nap.  He goes to bed at 7pm and gets up around 7am sometimes a little earlier or later depending.  He is a great sleeper which is a total blessing.  He is still a very content baby and so good natured.  We feel blessed to be his parents.
I love seeing his little personality come out more and more the older he gets.  He is a happy little guy that's for sure.
Some of Ryder's favorite things these days are playing with baby wipes (he loves the crinkling sound), anything that makes an interesting noise or plays music, crawling after balls, getting into the pantry, eating puffs and yogurt melts, his blankie and bottles, smiling and laughing all the time.

I don't have very many pictures of Ryder and I together for some reason.  So I made Ashby take a few of us the other day.  It turned out pretty cute.  Maybe Ryder does kind of look like me after all?!  Hmmm.

Even though this picture is blurry I just love that little closed mouth grin.  Such a cutie.

Ryder looks so much older than last month I think.  It is so crazy how much they change in a short period of time.
Happy 9 months little guy!
