The invitation
We had Brooks' party a day before his actual birthday on Saturday. We had so much fun celebrating with this little guy! He was so happy to see all his family and cousins. He loves being surrounded by the people he loves most. When everyone starting arriving at the party he was so excited he was shaking. It was so funny.
I used my new Christmas present the Cameo to make this cute little birthday shirt for Brooks. I only ruined 1 shirt during the process! Ha ha! It looked so cute on him.
I tried to get a few pics of Brooks before the party. As usual it was a very difficult task. He is one busy boy!
The party set-up.
I love making these tissue paper pom poms. They so cute, easy to make and cheap.
We had quite the dessert bar for his party. Yummy cake, cupcakes, and chocolate cake pops. It was all so good! I made the cupcakes and the cake pops but not the cake. I had one of my great friends make it. She just opened a new cake business. I love all her work. It turned out so cute.
This was my first attempt at cake pops. They are delicious and so fun! I was surprised how good they were. It is just a baked cake crumbled, mixed with frosting and dipped in candy melts.
The cake turned out so cute. Thanks Gina!
I made the banner and all the cut-outs for the cupcakes and other decorations from my Cameo die-cut machine. Can I just tell you how awesome it is?! I love it.
The cupcakes. Yeah, I am pretty proud of them . . . that's why I took like a million pictures of them. ha ha :)
I made blue cake pops for the kids to take home with them as party favors. They turned out cute and the kids loved them.
More of the decorations. Eighteen25 had really cute free birthday subway art I printed out to hang up for the party. They have a boy one and girl one.
When I took Brooks outside to take a few pics of him he figured out how to open the front door with the latch. He was so proud of himself. He kept doing it again and again. It was pretty funny.
Brooks and Daddy. I LOVE these two!!
Me and Brooks.
Brooks running around the house during the party. He was constantly stuffing his face with treats! He is so funny. I don't think he knows how to walk . . . he just RUNS everywhere! Its like he only has one speed; hyperspeed!
I had the kids color on the plastic white tablecloth while they were waiting. They loved it! It's funny how simple is better with little ones.
Singing Happy Birthday! Oh man Brooks' loved this. He was smiling so big the whole time.
Blowing out the candles. He was hilarious! He kept taking these huge exaggerated breaths to blow out the candle. So cute.
Happy Birthday to you!
Brooks digging into his cake. What he really loves is ice cream though it is his favorite!
Present time! 2 year olds are so funny at birthdays. After opening 1 present Brooks was happy and ready to just sit down and play with it. He had so many presents to open we were constantly bugging him to keep going and opening more and more. It was quite entertaining.
Getting some cool Cars stuff from Michael and Laura.
Leapster laptop from Grandma and Papa.
Buzz Lightyear from Mommy and Daddy. Brooks' LOVES all the Toy Story Movies and his favorite is Buzz! He was so excited. Look at that smile.
Books from Aunt Kristi. The only present you don't have to wait to open to use it! Brooks loves looking at books.
Ashby was so cute with Brooks. She helped him open the presents and anything else he needed. It's nice to have an extra helper around.
After opening each present Brooks would try to get someone to open the toy for him so he could play with it. Papa Alan was a favorite choice for that.
Grandma and Papa Bellows got Brooks this cool ride-on construction car. Brooks was loving it. I love this picture of all the kids around him admiring the digger car.
Brooks trying to figure out how this thing works. What a fun birthday he had!
We love our little Brooks so much! We had a fun party celebrating his day. He was so happy and had a great time with all the family. Happy Birthday Brooks!
